There is a time where you say enough is enough and need to change things up. Well this time around Infiniti has decided to spice things up with their new VR30 engine producing up to 400hp Twin Turbo. The VR30 which is the VQ Engine’s successor has a V6 3.0 Liter engine that gives you options that will leave you drooling on the steering wheel and on your shirt. The entry VR30 produces 300 hp at 6,400 rpm and 295 lb-ft from 1,600-5,200 rpm, while the top-shelf version makes 400 hp and 350 lb-ft at the same rev peaks. Now the engine will come also with a 2.4 liter option for those of you that want to be eco friendly. The wheels have changed a bit on the “Q50 Red Sport 400” the reason for the name is because it is marketed as the Eau Rouge Evocative with a 245/40s in front and 265/35s in the rear and this time around you can choose if you want performance summer compounds or run flats. (Thank you Infiniti) We can not wait to get our hands on of these and hopefully bring you a full write up now it is said that the 400hp Q50 will be out in March so we’ll be waiting and camping out.
